Student experience strategy for Chisholm Institute

A digital strategy to deliver an exceptional student experience. 

The context

Chisholm Institute were developing their strategic plan, and recognised a key objective was to provide an exceptional experience for students throughout the relationship. 

Keen to access our expertise in digital transformation and higher education, Chisholm Institute turned to Alyve. Our task was to review the entire student experience, and identify the priority opportunities and illustrate the required changes to processes and technologies.

Our approach

Alyve consulted with stakeholders across the Institute that engaged and supported students. Our detailed assessment explored each key phase of the student journey, including awareness, enrolment, through to graduation and alumni management. We assessed the institutions business objectives, the experiences and goals of students, and the existing processes and systems. 

In partnership with Chisholm Institute, Alyve identified the greatest opportunities for an outstanding student experience, and the changes required to deliver those experiences. To align diverse stakeholders, we developed an engaging and visual blueprint orientated around the student journey. This helped to show the complete experience and the priority areas of focus.

The results

Chisholm Institute developed its digital transformation orientated around this work ensuring it was focused on what matters most – the student.

The project was highly successful, with approval from the SteerCo and the Executive. Based on its quality, Chisholm Institute submitted the project for consideration in the innovation category of the "Large Training Provider of the Year" awards.
